Four weeks of craziness. Originally planned as 8 weeks until I caved to peer pressure and cut it in half. Surprisingly,&nbsp; the most pressure was from Pat who wanted the kids to have more relaxing at home time before school starts in late August.&nbsp; <\/p>\n<p>Our first stop, for two nights,&nbsp; is the Berkeley Hotel in Asbury Park,&nbsp; NJ. One of our rare 2 night stops for this trip. We will spend the day on the boardwalk meandering past the Wonder Bar (nightclub and grill where Bruce Springsteen and Bon Jovi played) and do a bit of shopping as Brian forgot to pack a swimsuit.&nbsp; <\/p>\n<p>I hope to be able to post a few pictures later today of the sites we have seen and some of the kid&#8217;s exploring (if they cooperate) . <\/p>\n<p>Take care y&#8217;all<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>We have started our last long road trip.
