{"id":153,"date":"2013-07-01T17:35:53","date_gmt":"2013-07-01T17:35:53","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/roadtrip.meenan.us\/?p=153"},"modified":"2013-07-01T17:35:53","modified_gmt":"2013-07-01T17:35:53","slug":"deep-in-the-heart","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/roadtrip.meenan.us\/?p=153","title":{"rendered":"Deep in the Heart"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>June 20th &#8211; Left today for New Braunfels, TX to drop off the trailer at Camping World. \u00a0I am hoping the fridge will have a quick fix that I am unaware of. \u00a0We decided to splurge for two nights to stay at the <a href=\"http:\/\/sanantonioregency.hyatt.com\/en\/hotel\/home.html\">Hyatt Regency Riverwalk<\/a>. \u00a0Pat decided that instead of an interior room, we should splurge for one with a view of the Alamo.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/roadtrip.meenan.us\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/06\/IMG_0775.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-thumbnail wp-image-155\" alt=\"IMG_0775\" src=\"https:\/\/roadtrip.meenan.us\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/06\/IMG_0775-150x150.jpg\" width=\"150\" height=\"150\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>I have to say the view at night made the extra money worth spending. \u00a0I can&#8217;t say anything bad about this hotel. \u00a0It was stellar in many ways. \u00a0Bed were extremely comfortable (coming from someone who has a hard time sleeping somewhere other than her own bed). \u00a0Shower were fantastic with plenty of counter space to spread out and get ready in the morning. \u00a0Sean gives the shower two thumbs up for being relaxing. \u00a0Part of the river has been diverted into the lower level and you can sit in the lobby and listen to the water. \u00a0The kids loved getting ice cream from a store on the river level.
