{"id":1412,"date":"2014-07-31T04:30:45","date_gmt":"2014-07-31T04:30:45","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/roadtrip.meenan.us\/?p=1412"},"modified":"2014-07-31T04:30:45","modified_gmt":"2014-07-31T04:30:45","slug":"a-day-of-rest","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/roadtrip.meenan.us\/?p=1412","title":{"rendered":"A Day of Rest"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>July 21 &#8211; Today we did a short 2.5 hour drive from Seward to Anchorage. \u00a0We stayed at Anchorage Ship Creek RV Park. \u00a0There are a few pros to this park. \u00a0It is near the trains, the coast, and the Ulu factory. \u00a0There is a con as well: the trains. \u00a0We were gone most of the day so the trains didn&#8217;t bother us. \u00a0In fact, you can walk over to the Ulu factory from the Park and sit and watch the trains and people watch.<\/p>\n<p>Since we have had such a hectic pace recently, we decided to take a bit of a break today and do some restocking from Walmart and Fred Myers before heading out for our last two weeks in Alaska.
