{"id":56,"date":"2013-04-02T01:18:26","date_gmt":"2013-04-02T01:18:26","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/roadtrip.meenan.us\/?page_id=56"},"modified":"2013-04-02T15:25:58","modified_gmt":"2013-04-02T15:25:58","slug":"about","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/roadtrip.meenan.us\/?page_id=56","title":{"rendered":"About"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Who do I think I am?<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/roadtrip.meenan.us\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/04\/41349b_ca7a634c566ccdfcf0174061f522221f_mi.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-full wp-image-62\" alt=\"41349b_ca7a634c566ccdfcf0174061f522221f_mi\" src=\"https:\/\/roadtrip.meenan.us\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/04\/41349b_ca7a634c566ccdfcf0174061f522221f_mi.jpg\" width=\"100\" height=\"133\" \/><\/a>\u200bI am a mom of two\u00a0rambunctious\u00a0boys who also happens to have worked in the ECE field for over 20 years. \u00a0I have a major in Recreation Administration from George Mason University and fell in love with working with young children while obtaining my degree.<\/p>\n<p>I have been thinking about taking my kids across the USA for quite a while. \u00a0I have fond memories of traveling with my grandparents every summer. \u00a0I am hoping to impart my grandparents adventurous spirit to my kids while encouraging them to disconnect from technology.<\/p>\n<p>My youngest son has a diagnosis of PDD-NOS and is on the Autism spectrum and my oldest has ADD which we chose to not medicate him for. \u00a0We will be juggling their special needs along with visiting some fun and educational places on this trip. It&#8217;s going to be a fun, but bumpy ride.
